Tenders and Quotations

Support Services is the administrator of the decentralized purchasing function for Haldimand County. County Departments are responsible for development of bid documentation (quotations, tenders, request for proposals) in compliance with the County Purchasing Policy.

All bid submissions exceeding $50,000.00 to be submitted in a sealed submission envelope before 2:00:00 p.m., local time on the date noted in the bid document and directed to:

Membership and Ethics

Haldimand County is a member of the Ontario Public Buyers Association and the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing and subscribes to their code of ethics.

Haldimand County established procurement goals are:
Encourage competition amongst suppliers by using an open, transparent and fair process;
Provide clear direction and accountabilities thus protecting Council, Vendors and staff;
Where practicable, providing accessibility for persons with disabilities when purchasing goods, services and construction on behalf of the County;
Be environmentally conscious through the purchase of goods, services and construction;
Ensure ethical purchasing practices are used by all staff of Haldimand County.
