The best of Ontario’s South Coast and Grand River Country can be found out on the water. Lake Erie and the Grand River offer fantastic locations for boating and watersports of all types. Many sections of the river are ideal for boating but the section between the Cayuga bridge and Caledonia is not recommended for power craft due to shallow depths. Visit the Grand River Conservation Authority’s web site at www.grandriver.ca for river flow information. Dams on the Grand River in Haldimand County are located in Dunnville and Caledonia and are popular fishing spots. Please see our
Fishing & Boating Access map for access points and common fish species.
